Fun facts…
1. This is my 8th time as a finalist.
2. My first time as a finalist was 18 years ago back in 2005.
3. It's a rigorous judging process just to make it into the show and I have had 11 entries that have missed out. So 8 in and 11 out, it’s a tough gig! My goal is to get to 50/50.
4. I had to fly with my entry to Nelson to meet the submission deadline as I'd fully run out of time, I arrived in Nelson with my entry 50 minutes before deadline! It wasn't a happy time but now I'm glad I did!
5. This is my first consecutive year making it through since 2007.
6. 2023 there are only 120 selected finalists and 23 different countries being represented.
Hey Jo! What do you do with the costumes that miss out? In fact what do you do with past costumes that got in?? :) And congrats on all the successes!
